We use your information to provide and improve the Nautico service, including: managing your account, syncing your data across devices, generating maintenance reminders, calculating fuel estimates, and providing customer support. We do not sell or share your personal data with third-party advertisers.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure with enterprise-grade encryption at rest and in transit. We implement industry-standard security measures including SSL/TLS encryption, row-level security policies, and regular security audits.

4. Third-Party Services

Nautico integrates with the following third-party services to provide its functionality: Supabase (database and authentication), Apple App Store (subscriptions and payments), Open-Meteo (weather data), and MapLibre (nautical charts). Each service has its own privacy policy governing their data practices.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can export your data from within the app or by contacting our support team. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at contactnautico@gmail.com.

6. Cookies & Tracking

The Nautico website uses minimal cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels. The mobile app does not use cookies.

7. Children's Privacy

Nautico is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Nautico application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Nautico.

2. License Grant

Nautico grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

Nautico is free to use with core features and offers optional auto-renewable Premium subscription plans (Monthly and Yearly), each with a 7-day free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID Account Settings. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited upon purchasing a subscription.

4. User Accounts

You may create an account to sync your data across devices. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page within the App, which will permanently remove all your data from our servers.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to misuse the App, including attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App or its servers. You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, and software, are owned by Nautico and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Nautico does not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Navigation data, weather information, and nautical charts are provided for informational purposes only and should not replace official maritime navigation tools and procedures.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nautico shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the App. Nautico is not responsible for any decisions made based on data provided by the App, including navigation, weather, or maintenance information.

9. Termination

Nautico may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, Nautico, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of material changes through the App or via email.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of the jurisdiction in which Nautico operates.
